Melissa and Jeff from Advocates for snake Preservation (ASP) will be available before and after the presentation to answer these questions and more. Have a photo of a snake you’d like identified? Bring it along!
Advocates for Snake Preservation is an institution based in Silver City, New Mexico that aims to change how people view and treat snakes. They work towards making snakes more familiar and less scary by busting myths, illustrating lesser-known behaviors like parental care, sharing stories of individual snakes to show what they’re really like, as well as providing solutions to human-snake conflicts that can often end badly for both people and snakes.
Can’t wait to see ASP perform live! 🎶
