Join us on a captivating journey ⁣that challenges common misconceptions and fosters a​ deeper understanding of our scaley neighbors.

Melissa and Jeff from Advocates for snake Preservation (ASP) will ⁣be available before and after ​the presentation to answer these ​questions‌ and more. Have a photo of a ​snake you’d like identified? Bring it along!

Advocates for Snake ‍Preservation is an institution based in Silver ⁤City, New Mexico that‍ aims to ‍change how people view and ‌treat snakes. They work ⁢towards making snakes more familiar and ⁤less ⁣scary by ‍busting myths, illustrating lesser-known⁣ behaviors like parental care, sharing stories of individual snakes to show what⁤ they’re really like, as well as providing solutions to human-snake conflicts that can often‍ end badly for both people⁤ and snakes.
