Publishers Pensoft Publishers Releases First Articles in Scientific Annals of the Danube Delta Institute

The journal, Scientific⁣ Annals of the⁣ danube ⁢Delta‌ Institute, ⁤was established‍ in⁤ 1993⁤ and serves ‍as a ⁢multidisciplinary platform for research on wetlands and ⁣deltaic environments. ⁢

The first articles of the ⁣journal, now⁢ published on⁢ its ⁣new website through Pensoft’s ARPHA platform, focus‌ on promoting lasting management of the Danube Delta.⁤ This includes an ​assessment ⁣of ‌pesticide residues’ impact​ on the river⁤ and⁤ insights into using earth observation data for monitoring ‌purposes. The journal​ also features studies on wetland ecology and biogeography, such as a recent investigation into the habitat and behavior of‌ Eurasian spoonbills.

The journal, which is free too publish and open for submissions, covers a wide range of topics including ecology,⁣ biodiversity, environmental protection, hydrology, ichthyology, ornithology, ‌limnology and ⁣sustainable development in wetlands ‌and ‌deltaic environments.

“With the launch of Volume 30 of ⁢Scientific Annals of⁣ the ‌Danube Delta institute now published with pensoft,” says Editor-in-Chief ​Iuliana-Mihaela Tudor from the Danube ‌Delta National Institute⁤ for Research and ​Development. “We celebrate an critically important milestone in advancing research ‌on biodiversity,‌ aquatic ecology and⁢ data integration.”
