The journal, Scientific Annals of the danube Delta Institute, was established in 1993 and serves as a multidisciplinary platform for research on wetlands and deltaic environments.
The first articles of the journal, now published on its new website through Pensoft’s ARPHA platform, focus on promoting lasting management of the Danube Delta. This includes an assessment of pesticide residues’ impact on the river and insights into using earth observation data for monitoring purposes. The journal also features studies on wetland ecology and biogeography, such as a recent investigation into the habitat and behavior of Eurasian spoonbills.

The journal, which is free too publish and open for submissions, covers a wide range of topics including ecology, biodiversity, environmental protection, hydrology, ichthyology, ornithology, limnology and sustainable development in wetlands and deltaic environments.
